La Mancha

The underlying photograph was taken of a hilltop town in La Mancha, Spain, with its windmills that irrigated its vineyards, groves and orchards. On top of that are layered more modern wind turbines from similar hilltops of the same region. Wind energy has been vital to life for hundreds of years. The distorted perspective in one case was Don Quixote seeing them as monsters and in the latter case as cancer causing agents. I find them lovely.
